Nick Hogan is suing the jail where he is housed because he believes he should not be held in solitary confinement (according to him). You may have heard that sometime last week Nick was complaining to his parents about how he does not get to do the things he wants to do. Uh you're in jail dude!! Nick complained about not having a window in his cell, his room being too small, not being able to play cards etc.



On Tuesday a judge denied Nick's request to be released from jail and placed on house arrest until the age of 18. He is serving an 8 month sentence remind you. O.k now it's time for me to vent! This is definitely a case of a spoiled Hollywood BRAT! I mean are you serious? Dude, you almost killed someone and you left him in a coma. He will never be the same again (will always be disabled). And you have the gaul to complain about not being able to "play cards?" I can go on, and on, but I'll stop there. His parents are the ones to be blamed for his ignorance of the whole situation. How do you guys feel about this? Should Nick be released or should he serve out his sentence?

Another Hollywood Arrest



Former child movie star Tatum O'Neil was arrested this past Sunday for buying cocaine, People Magazine reports. You may recall, Tatum won an Oscar for her role in Paper Moon. The former actress spent the night in jail and was charged with possession of a controlled substance. O'Neil tried to stop the cops by asking the detectives if they could just "forget about this". Uh Yea right Tatum!

Celebrity Baby News



So Pete and Ashlee recently confirmed  all the speculation that Ashlee was pregnant. The couple released this statement: "While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child." Ashlee's sister Jessica Simpson commented on her sister's pregnancy by telling People Magazine: "She'll be amazing, absolutely amazing," Awww, how cute.

 

In other baby news, Perez Hilton is reporting that former X-Files star Gillian Anderson is the latest Hollywood actress to be with child. Perez reports that  "Scully" is pregnant with her third child. The actress has a 2 year old son and a 13 year old daughter.

Hollywood Celebrity Weddings



Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson tied the knot during a weekend ceremony on May 17, exchanging vows in front of 150 close friends and family. Ashlee wore an ivory gown by Monique Lhuillier and Pete wore a regular black tux ( do we really care what he wore? I mean really?). Of course the two gave People Magazine an exclusive on their wedding pictures.



So who's the latest actress to get married? ..much to the surprise to just about everyone, including me.  Jessica Alba's rep confirmed to People Magazine that the famous movie star and her baby daddy Cash Warren were married in a private ceremony on Wednesday. Good for her! I give it..One year. I'm being generous.



The biggest and probably the most controversial wedding news comes from Ellen DeGeneres. The talk show queen and announced on her show last Thursday that she and long time girlfriend Portia DeRossi will be getting married on the heels of California's new law allowing gay marriage. Of course as usual there are haters!  Ellen recently had senator McCain on her show and of course he disagrees on the idea of gay marriage. I say everyone has a right to their own opinions!



Another homosexual star taking advantage of being able to get married is former Star Trek actor George Takei. Yea i know, who knew! He and long time partner Brad Altman will be joining DeG eneres and countless others in same sex marriage ceremonies in California. Go Girl!



In engagement news, top movie star and Hollywood icon Robert Redford and his longtime girlfriend German artist, Sibylle Szaggars are engaged to be married. No word yet on when the nuptials will be.

And the winner is....through a landslide victory (20 million votes), David Cook won American Idol 2008, beating out his younger competitor David Archuleta. When asked about where he thinks his career will go, the soon to be star told People Magazine that he had "no expectations." He's definitely humble, let's see how long it lasts!

The Queen of talk show land, Oprah Winfrey has announced that she will be trying a new diet plan. Winfrey has announced that she will be going vegan for 21 days straight. She got the idea to do the diet after reading Kathy Freston's book Quantum Wellness.

O.k so I'm not a gambling woman, but how many of you out there would like to place a little wager on the length of time Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon will stay married.



Here's the stats on this latest Hollywood celebrity wedding:

• The two apparently have been together a little under two months.

• They were married, on a Caribbean island in an impromptu wedding (yet to be, confirmed by the two.)

• This is Mariah's second wedding, and the first for Nick (he was engaged to Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks, but broke off the engagement. It seems that the ring he once gave to Selita is now on Mariah's finger...Wow!

So what do you guys think? In my opinion I don't see this lasting at all! Can you say publicity stunt? A non-famous movie/t.v star marries a famous singer/actress only after two months of happiness. Let's see,... how many top movie stars in Hollywood have gotten married after a couple months of knowing someone and gotten a divorce soon after? The list goes on and on. Some out there may disagree..but here's my wager: I GIVE IT ANOTHER MONTH!

UPDATE...I'm hearing rumblings that Mariah may be pregnant....I'll keep you guys posted. This definitely puts a spin on things. New wager: I GIVE IT 2 WEEKS!!

People Magazie is reporting that Disney Channel and That's So Raven star, Orlando Brown has been missing since early Tuesday morning. It is being reported that the actor left his manager's house at around 10:20 a.m to go to the local 7-Eleven, and has not been seen since. Oh My! His family and manager are asking anyone to contact Elayne Rivers at TLToonz@aol.com if they have any information regarding his whereabouts. I hope they find him...I will update this as it develops....

It's officially, official, yet the happy couple hasn't made it official yet..confused? Well I'm talking about the ever so secretive Beyonce and Jay Z.  The town clerk of Scarsdale Town Hall has confirmed that Jay and Beyonce are in fact married. He has their signed marriage license to prove it. Now if only they would come out with some details.



Sister Sister star Tia Mowry got married this past Sunday to actor Cory Hardrict (Can't say I've ever heard of him before) at the Four Seasons Resort the Baltimore Santa Barbara. Yay!



O.k so this isn't happy wedding news, but guess what former "View" co-host/t.v entertainment news star has filed for divorce from their husband of almost 4 years?? It's not Rosie (sorry I had to go there!) Star Jones has filed for divorce from her husband Al Reynolds, saying: "Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts." And continuing:
"I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman." Sucks for her.



And in more non celebrity wedding news, Kanye West has apparently broken off his engagement to Alexis Phifer. Here's what she said: "It's been hard and not been an easy time. I tried to keep things private but yes, it's sad when things end like this and we truly do remain friends. I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He's one of the most talented people I've ever met, that's for sure."

How many of you out there are Hanna Montana/Miley Cyrus fans? I know my 4 year old daughter loves her. Well it seems as though a few compromising photos of the child movie star has made their way onto the internet. I know that she is 15, and teenagers do "play around", but I'm thinking she needs to be a little more careful on what kinds of photos she takes. Even though the photos have surfaced, no comment has been made by Miley or her management team, and it's business as usual. Besides being a mini mogul, Miley is going to be one of the latest Hollywood actresses to pen her own autobiography. O.k she's 15, what exactly is she going to write about? Chapter one: how not to take "adult" type photos and have them posted on the internet. Hopefully there won't be anymore photos.

I know that many people watch "The Hills" on MTV.  They are Hollywood's latest craze, and you can't manage a week without seeing one of the characters on a celebrity magazine.  They might as well be famous actresses or actors! The amount of celebrity coverage these people get makes me think they have cured some foreign disease! (Although I think Spencer and Heidi are competing to see who can be the worst Hollywood actor and actress.)

I have watched LC and co. since they were on "Laguna Beach."  I've followed all of the love triangles, fights, and other crazy happenings.  Well, I finally watched this season's premier yesterday and it got me to thinking.  After all of this time, what are some ways to improve the show?

The main idea I came up with was the captions that pop up under each"characters" name.  (Let's face it, they are characters!)  Last season gave us new faces to add to the cast.  Stephanie Pratt and Justin (or is it Bobby?)  Well, why not make the show more interesting and put their nicknames under their names?  Instead of putting Stephanie on screen and then underneath putting that she's Spencer's sister, why not mix it up?  Most of us are die-hard fans that watch, so we know who she really is, right? Put She-Pratt underneath.  That's recognizable!  For Spencer and Heidi, both of them could be captioned with Speidi.  Make one of them Part 1 and the other Part 2!  And after Monday nights opener, we can start putting Ecu under Brody.  That was the french term for Scum.  Audrina could be Playmate, Lauren could be Gullible, and I haven't yet figured out what to put underneath Whitney's and Lo's names yet.  I'm working on it.  Hmm...Jenn Bunney....maybe Tramp?

Before I go, I must ask one question.  How in the world could both Heidi and Spencer just take off to Colorado?  Does Mr. Brent Bolthouse really not care if one of his employees does a disappearing act?  Who knows what Spencer does, but he has to make money somehow.  Unless appearing in magazines with a cheesy smile is a paying job.  Who knows?

Presley's rep says this: "Priscilla Presley was one of many documented victims of Dr. Serrano. An investigation which uncovered his misconduct ultimately lead to his imprisonment. Ms. Presley dealt with this matter years ago and everything is well."  See, that's why you should be happy with what you've got!

An arrest warrant has been issued for actor Shia LaBeouf.  It is being reported that the 21 year old actor was supposed to appear in court Tuesday morning, but he and his lawyer failed to appear. A $1000 bench warrant was issued. Hopefully he'll sort things out, he's one of the good ones!

J to the L-O has finally had her twins!! YAY! The Latina pop star and her husband Marc Anthony, welcomed their twins this morning at 12:12 a.m in a Long Island hospital. They were lucky enough to have a boy (5lbs 7ozs) and a girl (6lbs). Her manager released this statement to people magazine, "Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon."  Good for them! Next up Halle Berry.

Aaron Carter (little brother of Nick Carter) is the latest young celebrity to be busted for drugs on Thursday. Aaron currently sits in a Texas jail waiting to see the magistrate judge Friday morning. So what happened? Well basically the 20 year old was pulled over for speeding, and yup he was busted for having 2ozs of Mary Jane on him. In the words of Flavor Flav..."WAOOOOW!"



Angelina and Brad  finally finalized their adoption of Pax on Wednesday! Everything is now right with the world! O.K honestly, how much do you guys really care about knowing about every little thing that Brad and Angelina do? I mean it's a little annoying in my opinion. Perez Hilton is reporting that "Lord of the Rings" star Sean Bean, wed his long time girlfriend  Georgina Sutcliffe. The two were supposed to get married last month, but they canceled  24 hours before it was to happen.  (Uh huh!)

Yet another Hollywood divorce...TMZ is reporting that singer Pink and her biker husband Carey Heart have separated after two years of marriage...awww. Pink's rep said this, "Pink and Carey Hart have separated. This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another. While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."  Uh, let's hope they remain friends (yea right!).

The "Dog" is coming back! A&E has announced that it will be bringing back "Dog the Bounty Hunter" to t.v. You may remember that A&E suspended production on the series due to "Dog's" legal issues. No date has been announced on when they will begin shooting. Hey I'm just glad it's gonna be back to t.v..good show.

Barron Hilton was arrested late Tuesday for DUI, TMZ reports. Yes, you heard right! The younger (18 yr old) brother of Paris was arrested on suspicion of Drunk Driving. He was released at 5:50 p.m PT on . His bail was set at $20,000. Um..o.k I have to put my two cents in on this one...what is up with these stars and the DUI's, and the rehabs? I mean are they really that unhappy with their lives that they always have to screw it up? I know money does not make everything, and I know that they are "normal" people, but if you have the resources to get help..DO IT! don't wait until you get busted a million times in order for you or your family to realize you have a problem.

Former Different Strokes star, Gary Coleman has revealed that he has been married since August 2007. The 40 year old former child star revealed that he married 22 year actress (never heard of her) Shannon Price, in a secret ceremony on some random hilltop. He revealed that only he, his new wife, and the preacher were at the wedding. Say it with me y'all..Awwww. UH yea right!

Sad news to report..Britney Spears has been released from the UCLA psychiatric ward. Why, Why, Why? Even though she was supposed to be held for 14 days, the hospital has determined that she is mentally competent to be released. Umm..didn't they say that she was "completely psycho" last week? Wow her condition changed that quickly? I think not! The star caused her usual commotion when she was released, and was followed to the Beverly Hills Hotel, where she is currently staying. Enough said!  Keeping with the ongoing theme of psych wards and psycho's, t.v actress Delta Burke has also checked herself into a mental institution due to an obsessive compulsive disorder and depression (TMZ article).

In more important news: the cause of Heath Ledger's death has been released, and it's sad. The coroner has ruled the actor's death to be accidental. TMZ reports that his death was due to "acute intoxication". The toxicology showed that the actor died from the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine. How sad, I'm thinking that more measures need to be in place for doctors prescribing all these medications to one individual. What do you all think, did he get it all prescribed or did he get them "another" way?

Rihanna came out looking good last week debuting a brand new short hairstyle. It looks super cute. Following suit was Rod Stewart's daughter, Kimberly. Other changes in hairstyles were Amy Winehouse, who went from big black beehive to blonde, then back to big black beehive. Also, Ashlee Simpson went from blonde to red ( it actually looks good on her).

No due date has been announced. Speaking of babies, it is rumored that Jennifer Lopez has checked into North Shore University Hospital preparing to give birth to her twins. Also, Nicole Ritchie ventured out last week to celebrate the 50th birthday of her manager. In my opinion, she looked great, especially since its only been a couple weeks since she had her daughter.

Dewayne "Dog" Chapman and members of his family are finally free. TMZ is reporting that a Mexican judge has ruled that "Dog" and family cannot be sent back to Mexico to face any charges. You may remember that after "Dog" captured Andrew Luster in Mexico he was jailed because they baically broke Mexican law (bounty hunting is illegal). Good to know that we'll be seeing him back on A&E.

American Idol judges Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson are set to perform their song at the Super Bowl, Perez reports.

Heath Ledger's body was taken back to his native Australia last week to have a private burial. Production has been suspended on Michelle Williams current film to give the actress time to grieve. More sad news to report, Christian Brando, son of the late Marlon Brando passed away last week of pneumonia.
And amidst reports of a drunken night at the SAG Awards, actress Sean Young has checked herself into rehab. I wonder what star will be the next to go? Lindsay Lohan perhaps?

Since we're talking about rehab, we have to talk about Britney. Well on Monday night there was drama at the Spears household. Apparently Britney had a fight with her manager Sam Lutfi, and she called her boyfriend Adnan to help her, but when he showed up, he was prevented from going inside the house. Are you still following me? O.K, so basically, Sam Lutfi ordered that Adnan not be allowed on the property. But later that night, the two got to see each other after all. Awwww Y'all!
Britney's mom Lynn also showed up on Monday, and both her and Britney were spotted at a BMW dealership. There are reports that the family is planning on convincing the former star to seek help by entering rehab. Lets hope she does it.

As we know, the Screen Actors Guild Awards were this past Sunday and many of our top rated celebrities where there. So what were they wearing? Who had the hits and who was a miss? What's the newest trend in the world of celebrity hair and make-up? Well I'm here to answer all of your burning questions.

Best Dressed


This year the stars made a good impression with their fashion. Case in point,  T.V actress America Ferrera, who chose to show off her curves in a grey number by Monique Lhuillier. Angelina Jolie also looked great in a flowing patterned Hermes gown, that was simple. I'm not gonna lie, it did look a little tentish, but it was cute! (hiding something Angie?). Her date was this guy named Brad Pitt, who looked good in an all black suit with no tie. Christana Applegate sparkled in a georgeous  Elie Saab dress. Eva Longoria wore a white gown designed by Naeem Khan that plunged in the back...Fabulousness!

When you see what an actor or actress wears to an award, don't you just think to yourself that they need to fire who ever they are paying to dress them. Well that's what I thought when I saw a couple of these dresses.  Sandra  Oh (more like Sandra oh no!).   What  was she thinking  when  she wore a black and pink number with a huge bow..she decided to dress up like a half wrapped Christmas present that some one was trying to give back.  January Jones looked a hot mess in a hot pink gown designed by Armani. Tilda Swinton (the chick from The Chronicles of Narnia) in my opinion, looked like a spoon! She wore a pewter dress with a matching tuxedo jacket..WHAT?  You can see the rest of the mess here. I just can't go on with the madness. These people make way too much money to have a horrible fashion sense! Use your money for good people, for good fashion!!!!

Hair and Make-Up


It seemed that the "less is more" concept was the trend of the night. Hollywood actresses showed off a more natural look with light pink lips. They made up  their eyes with subtle colors. Hairstyles were also soft and elegant. Many sported pinned up hair styles. Eva Longoria, again sported this style, with a deep side part and curled locks. Young stars such as Amanda Bynes and Ashley Tisdale sported longer hair, but with loose curls. In short big night, great hair, great make-up.

The SAG Awards was a night of hits and misses as with any award show, can't wait to see what the Oscars have in store!

The entertainment world has lost a fine actor.  Heath Ledger has passed away!! Yes folks, what a shocker, first Brad Renfro now Heath. The 28 year old "Brokeback Mountain Star" and ex-fiance of actress Michelle Williams (who he shares a two year old daughter with) is said to have had an accidental overdose. TMZ is reporting that the actor's lifeless body was found face down in his bathroom by the maid and a masseuse who had arrived for an appointment with the star. Rumors about where his death occured were rampant. There were reports that he died in an apartment owned by actress Mary Kate Olsen, but that has been denied by the NYPD.

Update: Heath's death may have been caused by a combination of prescription and over-the-counter sleeping pills. Though the real cause of death will not be determined for several weeks.   Warner Bros. issued this statement about the actor "The studio is stunned and devastated by this tragic news. The entertainment community has lost an enormous talent. Heath was a brilliant actor and an exceptional person. Our hearts go out to his family and friends." Heath will be playing the part of the Joker in the upcoming Batman movie, produced by the company.

Good morning! The stars are out in full force at the Sundance Film Festival.

Here's what my spies are telling me: Even though the festivities started off with a blackout, the celebrities are still having fun.  Mary Kate Olsen is definitely taking in the action. The pint sized actress was seen entering one of the venues to see Colin Ferrel's new movie "In Bruges". Kate Hudson was seen shopping on main street, in Park city. Some other top rated clebrities seen at Sundance include: Dany Glover, Quentin Tarantino, rappers 50 Cent and Chamillionaire, Jessica Alba, Kim Kardashian and of course Paris Hilton is there reportedly sporting a rather large rock on her finger. What's up? Wouldn't it be crazy if Britney showed up? I'll keep y'all posted.

In Other News:         

Kiefer Sutherland has finally been released from jail. The movie/t.v star who was placed in jail due to a conviction for DUI and probation violation left the Glendale California Jail at 12:05a.m according to People. Speaking of jail, Perez is reporting that singer Bobby Brown is due in a Boston court in February to fight possession charges.  In keeping with the prison them, here's some Britney news: the singer/actress/psycho has apparently dropped her photographer boy toy, Adnan Ghalib. Her "manager" Sam Lufti reportedly showed a couple paparazzi a restraining order that Britney apparently filed against Ghailb. Adnan says that he is not aware of the order against him.  It is being said that the order was placed because Britney is mad that Adnan is supposedly selling photographs of the two to various entertainment magazines. Um..DUH!! Can I please be this girls assistant? Britney I'm here if you need me girl.

As you know the 2008 Sundance Film Festival begins today and ChaCha will be the "Official Text Answer Service". The festival lineup has been announced, and 121 feature length films were selected out of the 3,624 that were submitted.  On-top of the fresh new faces that will be staring in the new movies, there are a lot of top celebrities who will be appearing in many of these movies as well.  We can expect to see a great number of stars gracing the festival this year. There will be many new actors and actresses who will be getting recognition for their roles in certain films this year.

What Celebrities will we see?



The first film set to open up the festival is  "In Bruges" starring Colin Ferrell and Ralph Finnes.  It is not even out yet and it is already generating tons of Hollywood buzz.  The first screening will be at 6:00p.m at the Eccles Theater.  Other films set to premiere that have some famous movie stars are:

•  "The Wackness" starring Mary Kate Olsen, Famke Janssen, Method Man and Ben Kingsley.

• "Be Kind Rewind" starring Jack Black, Mos Def and Danny Glover.

• "Bottle Shock" starring Bill Pullman, Eliza Dusku and Freddy Rodriguez.

That is just a start, other stars appearing in films include Winona Ryder, Sienna Miller, Felicity Huffman and Ray Romano to name a few more.

What should we expect at the Festival:

There will be major glitz and glamor, and plenty of parties. I will be keeping you guys updated on everything. What party's were the hottest, the latest hairstyles and fashion, Hollywood couples, and definitely photos and entertainment news coverage of all the events.  Where ever there's gossip your girl will be on it!
