Since then, he had appeared in 19 films throughout his career. His movies included "Brokeback Mountain", "10 Things I Hate About You", "The Patriot", "Monster's Ball" and most recent, "The Dark Knight". He had three sisters, Catherine, Olivia and Ashleigh. On October 28, 2005 Heath had a daughter (Matilda Rose) with fiance Michelle Williams. On January 22, 2008 Heath's body was found his apartment. The cause of death was "acute intoxication".
