The former O.C. star, Mischa Barton, was pulled over at 2:46 a.m.  Her car was straddling two lanes of traffic and she failed to signal when making a turn.  According to a statement released for the L.A. county sheriffs department on Thursday, she was arrested for DUI and driving without a valid drivers license.  What is it with these celebrities thinking they can just drive willy nilly without a license!  The investigation is ongoing and I will keep you posted.

In other breaking celebrity news, Brenden Fraser and his wife of 9 years split.  Brenden announced through his publicist.  They hope to maintain a good friendship for the sake of their 3 kids. 

Paris Hilton's inheritance goes to charity!  Paris's grandfather Barron Hilton, has decided that 97 percent of his vast fortune, nearly $2.3 billion, will go to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, to help the homeless with housing, find safe water in developing countries and assist other good causes around the world.  That just makes me want to say HA HA!

Hollywood actress, Jessica Alba is engaged, publicist Brad Cafarelli confirmed.  She was spotted over Christmas with a big rock on her left finger.  Congrats to them!!


And lastly!
Amy Winehouse has been summoned to court in Norway.  This is stemming from an October arrest for marijuana possession.  Hopefully someone will think of feeding her in the near future because this girl looks sickly!

As the year comes to a close we remember the celebrities we lost, the celebrities who had new babies, and we remember BRITNEY!

I am beginning to think this girl likes when she makes a fool of herself in front of the paparazzi.  After learning of her sister Jamie Lynn's pregnancy, she decided to do some late night driving.  She stopped at a local Rite Aid, where she made the comment that she needed to buy stuff for her babies.  She parks in a handicap spot and heads into the store.  After testing several deodorant sprays, she emerged, spending a total of $57.46, with Lucky Charms cereal, Purex laundry detergent, Mrs. Field's chocolate chip cookies and a 32-inch plush horse (regular price $29.99, marked down by 50 per cent) labeled "For ages 4 and up."  After having a quick bite to eat she heads to take photographs of a graffiti mural.  There she went off on photographers because they were in her way.  She had a fit and smashed her camera on a car losing the cameras memory stick which she later came back to collect.  Strange strange girl!  I am almost tired of seeing her in the news but then hey what else would we talk about!!

Moving on to other stuff Katherine Heigl got married to Josh Kelley over the weekend.  The nuptials lasted about 30 minutes in a private tent at the Stein Eriksen Lodge.  Congratulations to them.

Dr. Phil lets America know that Lynne Spears is a good mother.  I find this very interesting since this is the woman quoted in saying that she was shocked to find out that Jamie Lynn was pregnant since she was never late for curfew.  Hmmm, you can't get pregnant in the daytime?

After people criticizing Jessica Simpson saying that she was a distraction to boyfriend Tony Romo, she was a no show at the last Cowboy's game.  After Romo endured the worst game of his professional career last week, fans of opposing teams started the Web site RuinRomo.com, which offers a Simpson mask that visitors can download, print and wear to games in an effort to jinx the star quarterback.  Well that's just not nice, but kind of funny!

And last but certainly not least, Jay-Z is leaving Def Jam at the end of the year.  He says its time to take on new challenges.  There has been no announcement of a replacement or even if there will be one.
