I'm sure I'm not the first one to have an opinion on why Britney is acting the way she is, nor will I be the last.  But I couldn't resist putting my own two cents in.  Here's how I look at the situation.  Britney is obsessed with being famous.  She deliberately courts the papparrazi.  She does crazy things because she knows that the cameras are following her.  Is she bi-polar?  More than likely, but since I'm not a medical doctor I can't make this diagnosis.  She spend too many years having everyone let her do whatever she wanted without consequences.  I know she had an assistant, but she wasn't her mother, and I'm not too sure her mom did such a hot job of raising her!  I mean, her 16 year old daughter is pregnant and supposedly she was letting Jamie Lynn live with her boyfriend for a period of time.  It's like as long as the money keeps rolling in, who cares?

Here's my biggest problem with the whole Britney situation though.  SHE HAS CHILDREN!  I'm a mother myself and my son is the number one priority in my life.  Every action I make has consequences on him.  I can either choose to be a good mother and make sure he is protected and safe, or I can go wild and not care who takes care of him.  You have to be a pretty selfish person to not care that you are losing your children, possibly FOR GOOD!  I would die if anything ever happened to my son.  I honestly don't know what I would do without him.  Do I like to go out with my friends and have a good time?  Yes!  But I don't make it a daily occurence.  I don't even make it a weekly occurence!  I would much rather spend time with him, than be out at some bar with a bunch of 20 year olds getting drunk. 
I realize that Britney is an adult and; therefore, should be able to make adult decisions.  But if I was going down the same road that she is, you can guarantee my parents would step in and make some decisions for me.  Let's hope that Britney gets the help she needs, but it doesn't seem likely.  There are too many people out there who are blinded by her fame and money.  They are afraid to make her mad.  Quit being the "yes men" and start getting this girl some help.
